Hi, I’m Ace, your baker friend!

Thank you so much for checking out my website! My name is Ace. I grew up in the midwest, blessed with a big, loving family (six brothers and sisters!), and a strong love for good food. I worked hard for most of my life toward the eventual goal of opening my own bakery. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurial business, working my way through college in cafes and bakeries. After I graduated University and married the long-time love of my life, I finally got close to my dream by managing a gourmet cupcake shop for two years.

However, I realized through that experience that running a store wasn’t for me. My husband and I moved to Portland, Oregon, and I had to do some serious thinking about what I wanted to do next; about what it was that I liked so much about food, and how to pursue that.

So, I came to the conclusion that what I love most about food is sharing it. I spent so many years being my friends’ “baker friend”, cooking for others and sharing what I’d learned. The thing that made me happiest about food was using it to make others happy! So, I decided to spread that love of food further, and share it with the world. So, let me be your “baker friend”, and maybe you can do the same for your loved ones.
