Coming Soon…A 1920’s Halloween Party

Happy October!!

It’s one of my favorite months of the year!  While this October is looking a little different for everyone this year, that doesn’t mean we can’t all have a good time!

In past years, my husband and I have thrown big, festive parties featuring spooky appetizers, jugs of rum-spiked cider, and too many board games, but this year will likely be a party of two (which is one of my favorite kinds of parties, personally).  Despite that, Dan and I will still be having a full celebration and stuffing ourselves with far too much party food - which brings me to my main point!

This coming month, I’ll be developing and posting a full menu of recipes for a 1920’s themed Halloween party!  Featuring delicious finger foods such as chocolate raspberry mini cakes, chicken ala king tarts, and green olive deviled eggs, your Halloween party (as small as it may be this year) will impress even Jay Gatsby himself.  Or, you can use this menu at any time of year for a fun vintage touch to your festivities.  I’ll also be providing tons of fun food history facts about how these foods would have been prepared for a real 1920’s soiree, so you can learn while you cook!

I hope you’ll stay tuned all month for delicious vintage-tinged Halloween recipes.  Stay spooky!
